The brand Logitech Harmony, is a remote control that can control high end devices, which will allow you to have control over the entertainment system. With one Logitech Harmony remote you are able to control your devices in your entertainment system, which allows you to remove all your remotes which will make it less confusing for you, as you can now just focus on using one remote. If you need to control the new device that you have, you have to connect it to your computer, and properly program it.

You can connect your remote to the computer by using a USB link, which will be included there for you. There will be two ends to this USB, and you will be able to connect it both to the remote and computer port.

Then you will need to open up the Logitech Harmony universal remote program. You can access this, by clicking on programs which can be found on the toolbar. You will need to click start, then programs and then logitech. Finally, click on the devices button, which will be at the top of the program window.

To add the a device to the Logitech Harmony remote, click the button, add to device. You will need to clearly identify what the device is, who manufactured it, and the model number of the device that you want to add. Once you have completed this process, just click finish.

Finally you will need to update your Logitech Harmony universal remotes. You can do this by going to the update remote button at the top of the programs window. By doing this, you are allowing the information and new settings to be sent to the remote control. Once you have finished with the final process you are now able to use your new control, and take charge of your entertainment system.
