The Presidency Of Barack Obama

When Barack Obama realized he had a good chance of winning the Presidency in 2008, he sat down with his people and came up with a very convincing battle cry, "Change You Can Believe In". The President convinced the American people that if you did not want the country traveling down the same path Bush had things headed, that you needed to vote for him. To no surprise it worked.People were afraid of what lay ahead for the country and decided that Obama was the best candidate for the job. They elected him because he promised change for this great country, change for the better. Three years on the job and America is still struggling, still involved in two foreign wars (three if you count Libya) and are as divided politically as ever. Most American want what is best for the country, they could care less about political parties. Change has not come and Obama is running out of time. With the President seeing the lowest approval rating of his presidency, he has started positioning himself for the re-election run. The President is preparing to announce a major initiative to get people back to work. The plan is going to be a combination of tax cuts and government spending that will cost tax payers up to about $300 billion. The President is calling for tax incentives for businesses that hire un-employed workers and a public works package that will repair out dated bridges, roads and school buildings.
